ECP has been billing our Medicare, Medicaid and Private insurance claims for 8 years. Not only have they billed our claim but they have insured all claims are clean and meet standards set by Medicare, Medicaid and private insurances. The State of Colorado Department of Program Integrity conducted an audit on our billing and documentation to support our claims in 2011. Under the guidance of Ms. Linda Amos all billing met standard as set forth by the State of Colorado. Ms. Amos and her team are not only a billing company but they are educator and mentors as it relates to billing. They have helped Alternative to establish policies and procedures to insure Best Practices. Ms. Amos has in-serviced the nursing department on documentation as it relates to billing. In doing this she has increased the productivity in the department by decreasing resubmission of paper work.
